On Tuesday, December 16th, 2008 at 6 PM, in Block of Tumpak Gesing included in Bandealit Resort of Meru Betiri National Park (MBNP) , the Head of Bandealit Resort , Officer Bahrudin, stopped a motorcycle's driver who acted suspiciously. After been stopped, Officer Bahrudin checked the motor with Police Registered Number. P 5088 AI driven by a suspect with initial named A alias H, lives in Bandealit Village of Andongrejo-Tempurejo, his daily job is the temporary labour of PT Bandealit Plantation. In the begining the suspect confessed that he only carried a sack of rice. But Officer Bahrudin could not believe that easy, he checked more detail, then he found about 5 Kgs of meat in the rice sack which suspected as Deer (Muntiacus muntjak) meat, based on the fur left on the surface of the meat. Strongly suspected that the deer meat is the result of the illegal hunting. |
